What to Expect and Aftercare

Every shamanic session moves energy in its own way, so the days that follow can feel different for each person. It’s completely normal to experience a range of emotional or physical sensations. Think of this period as a gentle unwinding — your system shifting, releasing, and integrating.

How You May Feel

After a session, you might notice your energy drop or rise, and both are equally valid. Some people feel lighter and expansive, while others move through heaviness, sadness, or emotions resurfacing. None of this means anything has “gone wrong.” It’s simply the body and spirit processing what was stirred or released.

Before the Session

It’s very common to feel scared beforehand or to suddenly find reasons to avoid booking the session at all. This is actually a good sign — it usually means something deep within you knows a change is coming, and the part of you that resists transformation is reacting. Trust that instinct and move gently through it..

After the Session

Give yourself some space. Avoid smoking or drinking alcohol for the next couple of days so your body can settle into the new energetic alignment without interference. Drink plenty of water and allow yourself time to rest — even if that just means slowing down or spending time in quiet.

Emotional and Physical Shifts

Some people feel a temporary imbalance in their emotions or physical body as energy reorganises itself. This usually eases within a few days. Pay attention to your needs, listen to your body, and allow the sensations to move through.

Integration

Full integration of the energetic changes can take up to four weeks. During this time, be patient with yourself. You may notice new insights, subtle shifts in behaviour, or changes in how you relate to the world around you. Let the process unfold at its own pace.
